Drivers, regardless of nationality, may rent a car provided that, at the time of rental, they have a valid driving licence they have held for at least 12 months. Minimum hiring age is 23 years and maximum 70 years.

When picking up the car, the driver must present an identity card or passport, a valid European or international driving license held for at least 12 months, and a VISA, Master Card or American Express credit card, as guarantee.

All rentals include basic vehicle insurance (CDW), third-party insurance, unlimited kilometres* and 24-hour road assistance.

*There is a limitation in kilometres for 1 and 2-day rentals

Minimum charge is 1 day (24 hours) of rental. That is to say, you may rent a car even for one hour, but you will be charged for one day. Maximum duration of micro-rentals is 30 days. After this period, the car must be returned to NewFrontier. As an alternative, our company offers you the possibility to rent cars for longer periods, at a monthly rate. Please contact us to get an offer for monthly rentals.

At NewFrontier you may choose between a wide range of modern cars of all categories. Automatic or manual cars, running on gas or petrol, or hybrid cars, as well as multi-seater cars, seating up to 7 people are available. Look at the list of our fleet of cars, to see some of our vehicles.

Cars may be returned at a different city, subject to special agreement.

NewFrontier offers you the possibility to pick up or return the rental vehicle at selected locations, other than our offices or the airport (i.e. hotel, port, railway station, intercity bus station).

A) It is expressly forbidden that the car crosses the borders and travels outside of Greece.

B) The car may board a ship, only further to written consent of the agency, but, in this case, any damages that may occur are not covered by insurance.

Up to 2 authorised drivers may drive the NewFrontier car. You may register the additional driver either at the time of booking or at the time of vehicle pick-up. The additional driver service is offered at an additional daily rate and includes the same insurance coverage as that of the principal driver of the vehicle. Drivers not registered with NewFrontier are not covered by any insurance.

All cars rented may be driven on asphalt-paved roads. Any damages caused due to driving on unpaved roads or off-road in general (wheels, tyres, underside) are not covered by any insurance.

When booking through our on-line reservation system, you must allow at least 24 hours before pick-up. For last minute bookings, please call us and pick up your car as early as ten minutes after the call (subject to availability).

In most cases, no. Limitations in kilometres apply only to:

1 and 2-day rentals.

The limitation is 100km/day.

Yes, you may select a child’s seat during the booking process. Children’s seats are available at an additional charge. Children's seats are placed on the car by the client.

Car interior.

A) Damages to the car interior (seats, dashboard, etc.), keys and mirrors are not covered by any insurance.
B) In case of heavy dirt accumulation in the car interior, there will be an additional charge of €100.

All NewFrontier cars are covered by basic collision damage waiver (CDW), mixed insurance (with €500 waiver), which limits driver’s responsibility in case of damage, and third party insurance at an additional charge. Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) is available at an additional charge. Car theft coverage (€500 waiver).

The amounts of liability, in case of damage to the rental car, vary depending on the category of the vehicle, starting at €500.

Drivers are also responsible for damages on the wheels, tyres, glasses, exterior mirrors, and damages to the underside and interior of the car, as well as for loss of the key, spare tyres and car tools.

Basic insurance coverage and Full damage Waiver (FDW) do not include: 

- Damage to the wheels and tyres of the vehicles
- Broken glasses (windscreens and side windows)
- Damages to car underside
- Damages to or breakdown of the mechanical parts, suggesting bad use
- Costs arising from the use of wrong fuel
- Cost of destruction or loss of the key of the vehicle
- Loss of spare tyre and related tools of the vehicle
- Loss of triangle and fire extinguisher
- Damage or loss of the cover of the luggage area
- Damages to the car interior
- Biological cleaning service, if, when car is returned, interior is extremely dirty
- Accident administrative fees, if client was responsible for it
- Administrative fees related to fines that may be imposed during the rental period

No insurance is valid if driver is driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

When booking you may add any of the following optional services:

Satellite navigation system (GPS): Find your way easily, using a portable GPS system. Available upon request, at a daily rate. 

Additional driver (AD): Authorise an additional driver to drive your rental vehicle. The same insurance coverage is provided to all authorised drivers. Available at a daily rate. 

Children’s seats: According to legislation, children must be seated in special seats, suitable for their weight. Available upon request, at a daily rate.

NewFrontier office hours are 08:00 to 20:00. You may, however, pick up or return a vehicle at other times than the above, further to agreement.

Client must immediately inform the police and the rental company, and give complete information, in order for the insurance agreed to be valid.

Personal effects left in the interior of the car are not covered by any insurance.

All rates are final and include taxes and reservations.

To complete your booking, you must pay a deposit (approximately 10%) by credit card, debit card or PayPal. Upon pick-up of the car you will advance the balance of the rental price by credit card, debit card or in cash.

If you wish, you may pay the whole amount of your booking prior to departure, to save time when picking up the car at our offices. Please contact us for information on how to do this.

If you have booked your car directly through the website, and you wish to cancel or modify your reservation, you should contact us by calling +30 6984 969599 or sending an e-mail at, giving us your name and reservation number. Please note that a cancellation policy applies and, in some cases, you may lose your deposit.

If you made your booking through another website or through a travel agent, you must contact the respective agent.

In case of cancellation up to 15 days prior to the date of vehicle pick-up, the deposit is fully refunded. For cancellations taking place less than 15 days prior to the date of pick-up, deposit will not be fully refunded.
